Choose whether you would like your Rose dry or medium-sweet.
The proper way to make rose wine is to use Red grapes. They carry the pigment on the inside of the skin. The colour is soluble in dilute alcohol.
So you put the red grapes, with the skins torn open to let the juice out, into a fermentation vat. Add the yeast and let the fermentation start. Keep an eye on the new wine. Somewhere between 2 and 4 hours the wine should be the colour you want.
Drain the juice off and put the pulp in the vat through a press. Now proceed as though you are making white wine.
